‘Tis the season of Summer Fruit!
Our Offerings…
The cool, moist spring and summer caused everything to ripen way late, and other issues, such as brown rot to some of our best peaches, boo-hoo—such is the toll of climate change on small farmers!
But that’s not all: The 31 Rivers of Rain and long cold winter eliminated most of our plums and apricots, alas, and took a great toll on our citrus…
The good news: there are lots of varieties of no-spray apples and pears! We are offering BIG SACKS of APPLES at $5/sack for your juicing, cider-making, and baking! While they last!
We have added new wonderful varieties of COLLARDS to our already spectacular SAVORY BOUQUETS, and our CHICORIES are FABULOUS, as ever!
The first TOMATOES, including SAN MARZANOS for sauces, are rolling in, and they have been FABULOUS too! BASIL is growing in abundance!
